FIRST AID MEASURES
Never give fluids or induce vomiting if patient is unconscious or having convulsions
Inhalation: Evacuate the victim to a safe area as soon as possible. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. If breathing is difficult administer oxygen. If the victim is not breathing perform artificial respiration. WARNING: It may be hazardous to the person providing aid to give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation when the inhaled material toxic, infectious or corrosive. Seek immediate medical attention.
ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Emergency procedures: Eliminate all ignition sources (smoking, flares, sparks or flames) in immediate area.
Adsorb spillage onto sand, earth or any suitable adsorbent material.
Do not allow entering into drains, sewers or watercourses.
Transfer to a container for disposal.
Wash the spillage area with water.
Spillages or uncontrolled discharges into watercourses must be alerted to the appropriate regulatory body
HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling:
DO NOT ingest. Do not breathe gas, fumes, vapours or spray. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. If ingested, seek medical advice immediately and show the container or label. Avoid contact skin and eyes. Keep away from incompatibles such as oxidizing agents, acids
Storage:
Keep locked up. Keep away from heat. Keep away from sources of ignition. Ground equipment containing material. Store in a segregated and approved area. Keep container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed and sealed until ready for use. Avoid all possible sources of ignition (sparks or flame).
DISPOSAL CONSIDERATION
Methods of disposal: As a hazardous liquid waste it should be solidified with inert material such as sand or fly ash before disposal to licensed industrial landfill. Waste must be disposed of in accordance with federal, state and local environmental control regulations.
Disposal of packaging: Return to manufacturer. Do not reuse empty containers. Triple rinse into system, then puncture and dispose of in sanitary landfill.
